Wonder

Wondering can take many shapes

From moment to moment. I wonder one thing and then the next. Like when I see the commercial for Lumi deodorant and I wonder, “Does it really work?” How many more days of temperatures below -20 will we have to endure this winter? How will I get it all done? What the heck am I doing?

Wonder and wondering can be synonymous at times and others not so much. The wonder of a new day like the one pictured above might only leave you wondering how to get the kayak out past the ice sheet. Wondering can be random or intentional and it doesn’t necessarily have to be inspired by any thing as profound and wondrous as a sunrise or the smile of a baby.

This page is dedicated to life’s many questions. Some will be of great consequence. Others, not so much. But sometimes it’s good to find an answer – quick, easy and painless. (At least that’s what I’m hoping for!)

I find myself wondering all the time

Do you wonder how to pay for college? What about which trail is best to hike in early spring without fear of spraining an ankle? How do I rewire my grandma’s old lamp that used to sit by her sewing machine? What’s the best workout if I only have 15 minutes?

Are you wondering how this fits in with “wander” and “wealth?”

Let’s face it. Life is one big entangled spaghetti pile of interconnected thoughts and experiences. Sometimes the correlation between one thing to the next is elusive. Other times it is much more obvious. In the end though, curiosity or “wondering” is at the heart of all exploration. Given that life is one big journey, wondering is a critical piece of the puzzle.
